Big Red Delicious Press
The name of our press is “Red Delicious”, it was built by Peter Marcus and his students who attended the Frogman’s workshop in Vermillion, South Dakota. All the materials used to make this fine press are re-cycled &/or re-used parts! Elaine was in attendance and decided to purchase the press for our shop. The press was shipped to Denver and painted a candy apple red (delicious!).
Red Delicious can handle a wide variety of print media up to 4' wide.
The Red Delicious Press facilities also include 2 Charles Brand etching press's which is on long term loan from The Metropolitan State College of Denver.
In addition we have screen printing equipment including a wash out booth and a Vacuum Table.
Membership includes use of all presses and equipment
Our presses are available for use by non-member artists and students on a half day and full day basis, please contact us for traditional information about renting press time.
